Natrum Phosphoricum

Natrum phosphporicum is a homeopathic medicine and is one of the tissue remedies that are widely prescribed due to its action on the muscles, nerves as well as on the intercellular tissues. It is especially useful in ailments caused by an excess of lactic acid in the body. Such conditions include complaints such as excessive flatus, eructation, etc; it is highly useful in symptoms of dyspepsia after eating fatty foods. Its particular symptoms include sensation of a hair on the tongue, irritation in the nose and itching in the anus as from worms, fear at night and eruptions especially on the legs.

Indications: Natrum Phosphporicum uses include the following-

• Head: Fearful especially at night. Dull feeling in the head. Head feels full. Pain of a throbbing nature. One ear feels red and hot with itching especially when accompanied by gastric complaints.
• Eyes: Eye complaints with golden yellow discharge. Discharge of a creamy matter. One pupil appears more dilated than the other. Eyes appear yellow.
• Respiratory: Itching in the nose with offensive odor. Thick and yellow discharge from the nose.
• Digestive: Eruptions on the tip of the tongue with stinging sensation. Moist and yellow coating on the tongue. Difficulty in eating food. Thick and yellow creamy coating at the back of the mouth. Eructation of sour taste with sour vomits. Greenish diarrhea.
• Male Reproductive System: It is useful in cases of emissions with weakness and trembling. 
• Female Reproductive System: It is a useful remedy in cases of early and watery menses.  It is also of use in sterility of the female with acrid discharges. Sour smell of discharges from the vagina. It is also helpful in cases of pregnant females with sour vomiting in the morning.
• Extremities: It is of use in ailments of the knee joints.
• Skin: Its benefit in skin conditions such as hives with itching especially when present in the ankles. Feet feel cold in the day but burning hot at night.

Dosage: Adults 03-04 tablets children 02 (Two) tablets dissolved under tongue three times in a day or as directed by physician.
